Frequently Asked Questions

For any other questions, feel free to contact us at (754) 799-5922 or email us at sales@floridacarstransport.com.

Vehicle shipping involves transporting your car from one location to another using a carrier. After you book our service, we assign a reliable carrier to pick up your vehicle from the specified location and deliver it to your desired destination. We keep you informed throughout the process to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.

To prepare your vehicle for shipping:

  • Ensure your car is clean for a thorough inspection.
  • Remove personal items and valuables.
  • Check for any leaks or mechanical issues.
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged.
  • Disable alarm systems and retract antennas.
  • Document the current condition of your vehicle with photos.

Florida Cars Transport can handle a variety of vehicles including:

  • Standard cars, trucks, and SUVs.
  • Motorcycles.
  • Classic and luxury cars (using enclosed transport).
  • Non-operational vehicles, though additional fees may apply.

The shipping duration depends on the distance and route. Generally:

  • Short distances (up to 500 miles) can take 1-3 days.
  • Medium distances (500-1500 miles) can take 3-5 days.
  • Long distances (over 1500 miles) can take 5-7 days or more.

Factors such as weather, road conditions, and carrier schedules can affect these times.

Yes, your vehicle is insured by the carrier's insurance policy during transport. It is important to document the vehicle's condition before and after transport using the Bill of Lading/Condition Report to facilitate any claims if needed.

No, we recommend not shipping personal items in your vehicle. Our insurance does not cover personal items, and they may add unnecessary weight, increasing shipping costs and potentially causing delays.

A Bill of Lading is a document that outlines the condition of your vehicle at pickup and delivery. It serves as proof for any damage claims. Both you and the carrier must sign it at both pickup and delivery to confirm the vehicle's condition.

If your vehicle is damaged during transport:

  • Document the damages on the Bill of Lading at delivery.
  • Report the damages immediately to the carrier and file a claim with their insurance company.
  • Contact Florida Cars Transport for assistance in the claims process.

We accept payments via credit card for the deposit, with the remaining balance to be paid upon delivery using cash or certified funds (money order, cashier’s check, Zelle, and Venmo). We can arrange full payment by credit card upon request, subject to a 4% service charge.

You can track your shipment by contacting our customer service team or the assigned carrier directly. We will provide you with the carrier’s contact information and the estimated delivery times.

Yes, any modifications that alter the size or weight of the vehicle from stock parameters should be disclosed. This includes extended cabs, lift kits, oversized tires, etc. Failure to disclose modifications may result in additional fees or cancellation of the order.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to sales@floridacarstransport.com. If a carrier has not yet been assigned, you may cancel with a $95 fee. Once a carrier is assigned, cancellations may incur additional fees.

Yes, we offer international shipping services. The car must be empty except for factory-installed equipment. The customer is responsible for the proper customs paperwork. Additional charges may apply for port services.
